'Stepping quietly towards the window lest I disturb an afternoon slumber, I couldn't help but notice how beatiful yet ugly the lace curtains were - like the roses I found in a nearby garden, perfect save for the presence of an enourmous fly enjoying their intoxicating perfume.'
